Test Engineer

HMH in Kristiansand is looking for a hands-on Test Engineer to join their team. This is a 6-month contract with the option for extension, based on-site in Kristiansand. The position is staffed through NES Advantage, HMH's global recruitment services provider.

What You Will Do

• Develop and execute structured testing activities throughout the development lifecycle
• Create and maintain test plans, test procedures, test cases, and test reports
• Run and redline test procedures to document issues and improvements
• Perform both manual and automated testing at software, system, and integration levels
• Support troubleshooting of hardware and system setups in close collaboration with development teams
• Manage software on test systems and execute basic software sequences and commands
• Work with PLC and SCADA-based systems during system and integration testing

Key Qualifications

• Relevant degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
• Experience with software testing, manual, automated, or a combination
• Experience with complex systems in test or lab environments
• Familiarity with PLC and SCADA technologies
• Strong skills in developing and maintaining technical documentation
• Exposure to safety-critical or regulated environments is an advantage
• Fluent English, written and verbal
