System Developer

System Developer – HMH, Kristiansand

NES Advantage Solutions søker en System Developer til sin kunde HMH i Kristiansand. Rollen er konsulentstilling og gir deg muligheten til å jobbe med et etablert produkt med høy forretningspåvirkning, i et leveransefokusert team av ingeniører og tverrfaglige eksperter.

What You Will Do

• Design and build cloud and backend functionality in a modern full-stack environment
• Develop and maintain APIs and integration services connecting systems and data flows
• Contribute to solution design, implementation decisions, and continuous improvement of code quality
• Participate in code reviews, DevOps practices, testing, and deployment processes
• Work with containerised services and modern engineering tooling

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Professional experience in system-level software development within product-driven organisations
• Experience building and maintaining backend services and APIs, including end-to-end data flows
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices, code reviews, and structured engineering environments
• Hands-on experience with secure data platform development or industrial IoT systems
• Familiarity with cloud services integration and scalable architecture design
• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and deployment best practices
• Fluent English, written and spoken — Norwegian is a plus

Work location: Kristiansand, in-office role
Contract duration: 6 months with option for extension
Start date: ASAP
