Product Engineer

Gazella is looking for a Product Engineer to join their compact product team in Stockholm. This is a direct recruitment through Bravura — you are employed directly by Gazella. The role is hybrid, based at Västra Järnvägsgatan 23.

You'll join a compact product team: the CTO, two engineers and one designer. The team works closely, iterates quickly and prioritises clarity and impact over complexity.

The role

As a Product Engineer you work across the entire product lifecycle — from identifying opportunities to shipping production-ready solutions. The role is fullstack and hands-on, but heavily product-driven. You'll talk to recruiters and clients, understand their problems, design AI-powered workflows and build systems that automate core recruitment processes such as matching, screening and communication.

AI is integrated at every layer. You'll work with internal agents, RAG pipelines, reasoning systems and data retrieval setups that support decision-making at scale. You'll also collaborate directly with the CTO and influence both technical and product direction.

Responsibilities

• Own product initiatives from initial idea to production release
• Design and build AI-driven workflows using RAG, agents and automation
• Collaborate with users and stakeholders to understand needs
• Develop fullstack features using Gazella's application stack
• Improve matching, decision and retrieval systems
• Experiment, measure impact and iterate based on insights

Qualifications

• Experience with fullstack development
• Ability to work across product, design and engineering
• Comfortable building independently and owning end-to-end solutions
• Experience with TypeScript, JavaScript or similar modern languages

Meriterande

• Experience with AI-driven systems, agents, LLM integrations or RAG
• Experience with React (Next.js), Node.js, tRPC, Kysely or PostgreSQL
• Experience working in small product teams or fast-moving environments
• Fluent Swedish (speaking and writing)
