Dynamic Positioning Project Engineer

Kongsberg Maritime is looking for a Project Engineer to join the Dynamic Positioning (DP) Application team. The role combines office-based software engineering with on-site commissioning on vessels worldwide, giving you direct exposure to real-world maritime operations. Approximately 100 travel days per year should be expected.

Key Responsibilities

• Commission DP software systems on vessels globally
• Perform software engineering and integration tasks at the office
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybernetics, Control Engineering, Marine Technology, Electronics, Instrumentation, Computer Science, or a related field
• Proficiency in English, written and spoken
• Knowledge of C/C++ programming is an advantage
