Automation – Senior Engineer

Head Energy Consulting is looking for two Senior Automation Engineers for project-based work in Bergen. The role involves SAS engineering on modification projects for offshore installations, working closely with clients and vendors to deliver robust technical solutions.

Job Description

• Produce new documentation and drawings such as Cause & Effect (C&E) and System Control Diagrams (SCD)
• Revise existing automation documents and drawings
• Produce SAS work packages for installation
• Deliver studies and Front End Loading (FEL) work
• Discipline check of automation documents and drawings
• Engage with client and vendor representatives to find optimal technical solutions
• Attend Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automation
• Minimum 5 years of experience within offshore-related projects
• Good experience with SAS systems in modification projects
• Knowledge of relevant standards and offshore modifications on live installations
• Experience with studies and FEL work
• Knowledge of instrument and electrical equipment used in the oil industry
• Basic EX course completed
• FSE – high and low voltage with practical first aid
• Offshore certificate and health certificate (or ability to obtain these)
• Fluent in Norwegian and English, written and spoken
